Fernando D. Bianchi received the B.S. and the Ph.D. degrees in Electronic Engineering from the National University of La Plata (UNLP), Argentina, in 1999 and in 2005, respectively. From 1999 to 2006, he was a Ph.D. student and a postdoctoral fellow at the Laboratory of Industrial Electronic, Control and Instrumentation (LEICI, UNLP, Argentina). From 2006 to 2010, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Technical University of Catalonia (UPC), Spain. From 2010 to 2017, he worked as senior researcher at the Electrical Engineering Department at Catalonia Institute for Energy Research (IREC). From 2017 to 2019, he was a Professor at Institute Balseiro. In 2017, he join CONICET as an Independent Researcher (Inv. Independiente) working in the Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires (ITBA).
